 그 한 자세는 아름답고도 엄하도다!

 The one posture is beautiful and tough!

 수수화영 (手手華英)

 손의 씀씀이는 화려한 꽃봉오리요,

 The movement of the hand is like a gorgeous bud,

 보보비운 (步步飛雲)

 걸음 걸음은 날으는 구름이라!

 The movement of the foot is like a flying cloud.

 신기귀영 (神氣鬼影)

 신의 기운이요, 귀신의 그림자이니,

 The energy of God, the shadow of a ghost,

 무허무실 (無虛無實)

 허도 없고, 실 또한 없도다!

 There is no unreality, and no reality!

 무도암향 (武道暗香)

 무도란 은은한 향기와 같은 것,

 The way of martial arts is thing like a soft scent,

 암중석화 (巖中石花)

 바위 속에 핀 돌 꽃이라,

 A stone flower blooming in the rock,

 동유광풍 (同遊狂風)

 미친 바람과 함께 노닐고,

 Playing with a crazy wind,

 동숙취월 (同宿醉月)

 취한 달과도 함께 자노라!

 Sleeping with the drunken moon!

 일권타마 (一拳打魔)

 한 손의 지름은 마를 물리치고,

 The fist of one hand defeats the evil,

 일검파사 (一劍破邪)

 한 검의 내려침은 사악함을 가른다.

 The one swing of a sword cuts wickedness.

 심여부운 (心如浮雲)

 마음은 뜬 구름과 같은 것

 The mind is like a floating cloud,

 영광조천 (靈光照天)

 영롱한 빛이 하늘에 비추인다.

 Bright light shines in the heaven.
